DR JACQUELINE RADLEY
38 years of putting patients first
Dr Jacqueline Radley’s career in medicine spans nearly four decades – but her focus on menopause care stemmed from the realisation through her work as an NHS GP that women deserve better menopause care than what the system currently provides.
Dr Radley trained at Middlesex Hospital Medical School, London (MBBS, 1988) and has held clinical roles across both NHS and private settings throughout her career. She is a British Menopause Society (BMS) registered Menopause Specialist and holds the FSRH Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care – a postgraduate qualification that requires ongoing clinical practice, conference attendance, and a minimum of 100 menopause consultations per year.

She is a member of the British Menopause Society, the International Menopause Society, and the Royal College of General Practitioners, and her practice is grounded in the latest evidence from NICE and BMS guidelines. She has a particular interest in complex menopause care – including supporting neurodivergent women, women with a history of breast cancer, and those experiencing menopause earlier than expected.
a commitment to menopause care
Improving menopause care – everywhere it's needed
Dr Radley’s work isn't limited to one setting. She believes that every woman deserves access to knowledgeable, compassionate menopause support. That belief shapes everything she does.
Dr Radley has seen across decades of clinical work that too many women are still being dismissed, misdiagnosed, or left without treatment during menopause – which is why alongside her private practice, she continues to work within the NHS as well as within workplaces to close the gap in menopause care.
NHS
Dr Radley continues to work within the National Health Service, driven by the core belief that specialist menopause care should be accessible to all.
Private Practice
Dr Radley’s private practice offers what the NHS can't: unhurried consultations, access to the full range of treatments including testosterone therapy, and personalised care that's built around you - not a 10-minute appointment slot.
Workplace Training
Dr Radley works with employers, organisations, and charities to raise awareness of women’s health topics and help develop menopause-aware workplaces through educational talks, manager training, and policy guidance - empowering more women to stay in work and feel supported as they go through the menopause.

credentials & qualifications
What makes a menopause specialist?
Not all doctors who treat menopause have the same training. A BMS-registered menopause specialist has completed advanced postgraduate education and maintains their expertise through ongoing clinical practice and professional development.
38+
years in
medicine
Decades of practice across NHS and private settings, including a background as a GP, with a deep understanding of how menopause intersects with other health conditions, life stages, and individual circumstances.
BMS
menopause
specialist
A postgraduate qualification requiring specialist training in the assessment and management of menopause, including complex cases. Holders must complete a minimum of 100 menopause consultations per year.
Doctify
2026 Outstanding Patient Care Award
Rated by patients on Doctify – an independent, verified review platform for healthcare professionals. Dr Radley’s rating reflects the quality of care patients experience, not a curated selection of testimonials.
SPECIALIST AREAS
Expert care for complex cases
Not all doctors who treat menopause have the same training. Some doctors may have a special interest in menopause, but a menopause specialist such as Dr Radley has advanced training in assessing and treating women whose treatment is less straightforward.

Dr Radley's experience as a GP, combined with specialist training, means she can see women with more complex needs, including those who have struggled to find the right help elsewhere. She also supports other clinicians in managing patients with higher risk factors, such as previous breast cancer or blood clots, or where multiple factors affect treatment decisions.
NEURODIVERGENCE
Menopause & ADHD /
autism
Declining oestrogen affects dopamine regulation, which can make ADHD symptoms significantly worse during perimenopause. Autistic women may experience heightened sensory overwhelm and difficulty maintaining the masking strategies they've relied on. Dr Radley understands how menopause and neurodivergence interact, and can help you separate what's hormonal from what isn't.
breast cancer
Menopause after breast
cancer
Managing menopause with a history of hormone-sensitive cancer requires specialist knowledge. Many women are told they can't have any treatment – but that's not the case.
Dr Radley can discuss the full range of options, including vaginal oestrogen, non-hormonal medicines like fezolinetant and elizanetant, and non-pharmaceutical treatment options.
early & premature
Early menopause
& POI
Menopause before 45 – or before 40 (premature ovarian insufficiency) – has significant long-term health implications for bone, heart, and brain health. Dr Radley helps women experiencing early menopause or POI receive the hormonal treatments they need to protect their long-term wellbeing, as well as any support they might need to manage their psychological wellbeing.
complex histories
Surgical menopause & complex medical history
Dr Radley’s background as a GP makes her an expert in supporting patients with existing medical conditions and complex needs, including post-surgical menopause, previous treatment attempts that haven't worked, interactions with other medications, or conditions with overlapping symptoms like thyroid disease. She also has a list of trusted specialists to refer onwards where needed.
